Pack 802

Welcome to Pack 802! -- a Cub Scout Pack in Danville, CA. For our Scouts, and their parents, you've found the place for the latest information on Pack meetings, events, news, contacts and ramblings from past fun. For new comers, our Pack meetings are held at Sycamore Valley Elementary School. If you're a young man in the 6 to 10 year old range, and have an interest in Scouting, contact one of our Pack or Den leaders. Or, just come on out to our next Pack meeting and have a great time with all the other Scouts.

Cub Scout Pack 802 is chartered by the Kiwanis Club of the San Ramon Valley, Danville, California. We have approximately 70 members who are active young men, between the ages of 6 and 10 (grades 1 to 5). Pack 802 is part of the Meridian District, which covers Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville, and San Ramon. The District is part of the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council. May 2014 - Yosemite Camp Out Weekend!!!

Come join us at Yosemite National Park for our annual campout weekend!!  We will be staying at the Upper Valley Pines campground on May 23rd and 24th in shared sites.  There will be plenty of fun activities, crafts and a Saturday night campfire gathering with food and marshmellows.

June 2014 Year End Picnic !!

Come enjoy our not be missed Year End Picnic at Sycamore Vally Park!!!  

There will be lots of food, tons of activities and our special bridging ceremony where all the current Scouts will move up to their next rank.  This is also our registration time for next year and a great opportunity to invite any 1st graders who might be interested in joining scouts.  Bring the whole family, a large cooler full of water balloons and prepare yourself for a Scouting good time!!

Feller Cake Bake / Pack Meeting - Monday March 3rd @ 6PM

Calling all Son's & Dad's.....It's baking time!!! That's right, it's the Feller Cake Bake event where just the boys get to mess up the kitchen (and clean it up) while trying to create a cake masterpiece. And sorry Mom's, no help from you is allowed. There will be 7 total categories with 1st through 3rd place ribbons, which are listed below. After the judging, we all get to eat these tasty creations so it's a great time to invite a friend.

Blue and Gold Dinner/February Pack Meeting is on Feb 5th, 2014 @ 6pm

We will be having a pack meeting on February 5, 2014 at 6:00pm. This event is our Blue and Gold Dinner, to celebrate the birthday of Scouting. At this event, our 5th grade Webelos will receive the Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouts and bridge to the Boy Scouts. The event is a potluck and your den leader will reach out to coordinate. Please RSVP. It is held at the Sycamore Valley Elementary school's multipurpose room. Have your scouts wear their "class A" uniform (if available. Additional information:

Pinewood Derby Clinic is Saturday, January 11th, 2014 @ 10:00am

The Pinewood Derby (PWD) clinic is where everyone has an opportunity to use tools to design and build your pinewood derby car. The pinewood derby car starts from a block of pinewood (available for sale at our pack meetings or at various hobby shops). At the clinic, we help everyone with designing **fast** or **creative** cars. We have tools to help shape the cars and placing wheels sraight. It can take 1-2 hours or more to create the car. So please arrive anytime within 10am - 2:30pm.
